Choosing Safe Dog Toys For Your Dog

How do you know what toy is right for your dog? Your dogs and puppies love dog toys, with so many choices available, from rubber toys, plush toys, tennis balls, the right and safe choice isn’t always obvious.

Make sure to remove any labels, bows, price tags, ribbons or packaging, when you give your dog a new dog toys, because these can cause your dog to choke.

The simplest toys also will keep your dog the most occupied and happy. Dogs can spend hours trying to unravel a thick, strong rope that’s tied into a knot on one end. Rotate your dog toys, variety is good for your dog. Rotating toys will help to keep the dogs attention.

Rubber toys tend to last a long time so these are good choices for dogs. These type toys resist damage and resist bacteria. Rubber toys have a bounce that can keep a dog’s attention for longer periods of time. A strong chewer can break off a piece of rubber and they can choke on it, when it has broken apart, throw it away.
